Implied lift tie-in to Snowbasin incorrect
The Standard-Examiner April 28, 2006.  Clint Ensign, senior vice president of Sinclair Oil Company, denied a statement published by proponents of a gondola on Mount Ogden Thursday that implies there is to be a link between the Snowbasin ski resort and the proposed mountain resort in Malan's Basin.

The Standard-Examiner April 22, 2006.  The Standard-Examiner has published a dearth of information on Chris Peterson's plans for the proposed gated ommunity in Ogden, his purchase of land from Weber State University and what he has been doing to the Malan's Basin property.  The Ogden Sierra Club has documented, in photos, activities he has undertaken in Malan's Basin.  Riparian areas were destroyed, beginning at the istorical site, which affect our wildlife that depend on such areas.
