Nestled in the far north reaches of the state, serviced by historic Highway 89, Cache County contains some of the Wasatch's most wild and remote National Forest Lands.  It is home to two of the Wasatch Range's six wilderness areas - Mount Naomi and The Wellsville Mountain Wilderness Area (23,850 acres).  As population and recreation increase in the Cache Valley, preasures are being exerted upon our Public Lands.
